Restoration of churches, monuments & homes

Restored stained glass window at Hotel August, Antwerp

Our restoration work is more than conservation. It is where we come to know the craft in its sharpest form. Every historic technique we unravel and learn to master finds its way into our own contemporary work.

Atrium Glaskunst specialises in the restoration of stained glass windows, with particular expertise in traditional and historic glass painting. From monumental church buildings to private properties, we bridge centuries-old craft techniques and contemporary conservation standards.

Private homes

In homes in the Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles, stained glass windows define the character of the façade and interior. These periods are marked by refined, intricate leaded designs with figurative detailing. Thanks to our knowledge of detailed leadwork, we restore these windows with respect for the original, while at the same time bringing them in line with contemporary insulation and safety standards.

For church councils, architects, and contractors, we handle the entire restoration process: advice, removal, restoration in our atelier, and reinstallation, with or without protective glazing.
